L’ARGENTIERA – 13 KM
Argentiera is a small mining village on the north-western coast of Sardinia, in the municipality of Sassari. A fascinating and evocative place, where history and nature blend together in a unique landscape.
Once a centre for the extraction of lead and silver, Argentiera still preserves the remains of the ancient mines and wooden structures, which create an atmosphere suspended in time.
The Argentiera beach, with its silver sand and crystalline sea, is a sight not to be missed, while the surrounding paths offer spectacular views of the wild coast. An ideal place for those seeking tranquility, history and uncontaminated natural beauty.
STINTINO – 19 KM
Located in front of the Asinara Island, this charming village enchants with its mix of wild nature and tradition.
Its most famous attraction is undoubtedly La Pelosa, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean, with fine white sand and shallow, transparent waters, protected by an ancient Aragonese tower. Not far away, La Pelosetta and Le Saline offer equally enchanting scenery.
In addition to its natural wonders, Stintino is a place rich in history and culture linked to fishing and tuna fishing, visible in the Museo della Tonnara. Boat trips also depart from here to Asinara, now a National Park, where uncontaminated nature offers breathtaking views and encounters with white donkeys. A perfect place for those seeking relaxation, crystal clear sea and Sardinian authenticity.

ALGHERO – 36 KM
Alghero, known as the “Barceloneta of Sardinia”, is one of the most fascinating cities on the island, rich in history, culture and breathtaking landscapes. Located on the north-western coast, it retains a Catalan soul, evident in the language, traditions and architecture.
The beaches of Alghero, such as Le Bombarde, Lazzaretto and Maria Pia, enchant with their golden sand and crystalline sea. A few kilometers away is the majestic Grotta di Nettuno, a natural masterpiece of stalactites and stalagmites accessible by sea or via the scenic Escala del Cabirol, a staircase of 654 steps carved into the rock.
In addition to its scenic beauty, Alghero is also a place of food and wine excellence. Try the Algherese paella, Catalan-style lobster and local wines such as Cannonau and Vermentino di Sardegna. A city that combines history, sea and tradition, making it one of the most fascinating destinations in Sardinia.
CASTELSARDO – 57 KM
Castelsardo is one of the most evocative villages in Sardinia, perched on a promontory overlooking the Gulf of Asinara. This enchanting medieval town, with its cobbled streets and colorful houses, retains a timeless charm and offers breathtaking views of the sea.
The symbol of Castelsardo is the Doria Castle, a 12th-century fortress that today houses the Museum of Mediterranean Weaving, dedicated to the ancient art of basket-weaving, a tradition still alive among the inhabitants. Walking through the historic center, you will discover fascinating churches such as the Cathedral of Sant’Antonio Abate, famous for its bell tower with a colored majolica dome, and the Church of Santa Maria, where the mysterious “Black Christ” is located.
In the surrounding area, nature offers wonders such as the famous Elephant Rock, an imposing rock formation in the shape of an elephant, which houses ancient prehistoric tombs. The nearby beaches, such as Lu Bagnu, offer crystal clear waters and relaxation.

BOSA – 130 KM
The heart of the village is dominated by the Malaspina Castle, built in the 12th century, which offers a spectacular view of the city and the sea. Inside is the evocative Church of Nostra Signora de Sos Regnos Altos, with medieval frescoes of great value. The historic center, known as Sa Costa, is a labyrinth of cobbled streets, flower-filled balconies and artisan workshops, where you can discover the workmanship of filet, a traditional embroidery of Bosa.
The Temo gives Bosa a unique atmosphere: along the river there are the ancient tanneries, today a historical heritage, which tell of a past linked to the processing of leather. The nearby Bosa Marina, with its long beach and clear waters, is perfect for those seeking relaxation and crystal-clear sea.
